Housed in an Edwardian-style tenement building previously occupied by a Puerto Rican barbershop, our Upper West Side apothecary was designed by Brooklyn-based architect Craig Konyk to honor the history of the neighborhood. Channeling the paradigm set by the Chelsea flagship, white lacquered walls are juxtaposed with floating neoclassical walnut panels salvaged from a Long Island estate.

Original elements of the historical space – such as the original tin ceiling, the stone facade – remain very much in tact. Products are lined up within oculus-shaped cutouts in the walls, setting up elegant dioramas that echo the theatrical quality innate to the surrounding neighborhood.
