"No two stores are identical. The wood elements here are intended to embody the Pacific Northwest." – Matthew Malin
Our first location in San Francisco, based in the close-knit Hayes Valley neighborhood, was brought to life by Brooklyn-based architect Andy Bernheimer.
Channeling the environment of the Pacific Northwest, this store is imbued with a variety of wood elements – from the pale grey timber floors to the cross-laminated redwood timber developed for the shelving, cubbyholes and niches used to display the products. A found object serves as a sales counter in the back, where it is illuminated by light installation courtesy of Brooklyn designer David Weeks.
